Nocturnal Melbourne Tour Details

We search for all creatures big and small that roam the forest at night, including common nosed Wombats, eastern grey Kangaroos, ring and brushtail Possums and Owls to name but a few, the tour is a great small group wildlife experience, where you get to see our amazing wildlife in the Wild!

This very unique tour is a combination of native wildlife and forest scenery. Your passionate guide will explain about the different animals you encounter and also the local history of the area, with a regular stop at a Mineral spring which has been credited for bringing health and well being to the local people for over a hundred years (bring a bottle) and also a small forest walk with flashlights provided.

The tour now also incorporates a citizen science aspect were we photograph animals that are on the vulnerable/endangered list (like Powerful Owls and Greater Gliders) and record there positions to assist in the future management of the forest.

The Bendigo line train leaves Melbourne’s Southern Cross at 5.20pm costs about $9 each way or you can select a City Pick Up option, for an additional cost. The city pickup time will be at 4.50pm from your Hotel etc. Price is each way/per group not per person.
