Daylesford, Victoria Farmstay Details
The best way to see these creatures is to view them in their natural environment.
We invite you to complete your Australian experience with a Daylesford farmstay visit. This is easily the highlight of your trip in Victoria as you don’t have to share this with crowds of people. You get to see the wide open spaces of country, millions of stars at night away from the city glow, have a young Australian family show you around as your guide, meet interesting farm animals, and take part in preparing Australian home-cooked meals.
On our farm we have… goats, horses, ducks, rabbits, chickens, yabbies, as well as a dog and cat. The farm is located in lovely Trentham, just over an hour from Melbourne and 20 minutes from Kyneton, Daylesford, and Woodend located on the iconic and scenic Great Dividing Range.
Heaps of activities around the farm await like milking our goats when in season, collecting chicken eggs, picking produce straight from the garden, petting and playing with the animals, bush-walking, stargazing with our huge telescope, playing board games, and practicing conversational English with our family are few of the activities we can entertain you with.
We love to utilise our farm fresh produce to make some delicious farm foods like breads, cheeses, and pizzas. We can accommodate up to six guests or a family group in our shared family house.
We can pick you up from Woodend Train station for free (it’s about $9 for a train ticket from Melbourne Southern Cross station) or Melbourne CBD /Melbourne Airport for $110 per group.
